Meet The Groomers
Because you entrust your pets to our care, we use our knowledge of animal behavior and training, experience in animal handling and grooming skills to create a positive experience when they are with us. Gentleness, understanding and friendliness is our pledge to you and your pets.

We have several groomers to meet your pets needs. Read below and choose the groomer whom you feel will be the best fit for you and your pet.

Marilyn

Previous owner/operator of Animal Ark Mobile Pet Services, Marilyn purchased Pretty Pets in March of 2008.

She specializes in mobile grooming but works both at the salon and in the grooming van. "I have a special place in my heart for older or special needs pets." She also enjoys grooming Shih-tzus, Bichons, Shepherds and large breeds, but welcomes all breeds and ages. "Thank you for letting me care for your pets, they bring me joy every day."

Marty

Marty has 28 years experience. Previous owner of Pretty Pets, she owned the business for 10 years.

"I love poodles and small breeds"; and she specializes in Standard Poodles, doing an absolutely wonderful job. Her grooming is top of the line and her poodles are beautiful. Marty says she is totally devoted to animals, but hopelessly devoted is more like it!

Liz

"I love to groom but most of all I love the pets that I have had the privelege to work with, Some of my clients have been with me for several years, some small and some large."

Her grooming experience started approximently 10 years ago in a small shop in the village of Los Lunas. Since then, she has expanded her knowlege in all areas of grooming especially her knowlege of Terriers, Airdales, Schnauzers, her favorite breeds. She welcomes all breeds, however, with tender loving care. "Ask for Liz!"

Leslie

Leslie Joy retired from professional dog grooming 10 years ago to pursue her interst in Theatre Arts. You may find her acting, directing, and building sets for plays here in town.

She is happy to be back working with your pets. She has more than 20 years experience grooming all breeds. She herself owns a Pomeranian named "Bandit" and will be pleased to introduce you to him when you bring in your "children"

Chris

Chris Argo has been grooming since 1994. He has always loved animals and is very patient. After seven years of grooming, Chris opened "Muddy Paws Pet Salon" in Delaware, which after it's second year in business, won an award as "Best of Delaware".

After selling his business, Chris and his family have moved around the county for a couple of years. His famly has now setttled in Albuquerque. Chris' favorite breeds to groom are Schnauzers, Shih Tzus, Bichons, Labs, and of course, Papillons! Chris loves his job!
